How We Started

My daughter loves her clogs and her shoe charms.  I was trying to think of another way she could display her charms.  Then one day it hit me:  a charm purse!  So I designed a charm purse just for little girls.  It has straps to display any brand of shoe charm and a decorative bow to keep it “girly”.  I wanted her to be able to display lots of charms so I designed four straps so she could display up to 40 charms.  After some trial and error I had my design complete.  It took a little time though to find just the right materials because we only use high quality purses, straps and bows.

Now my daughter, like most seven year old girls, loves to play dress up and would change her outfit 20 times a day if I let her.  So I knew I had to make the purse so she could redesign it.  The bow and straps are all removable and inter-changeable.  I assembled accessory kits so the purse could be redesigned for everyday use, just to match an outfit, or for the holidays, or just because she loves to design (she wants to be a fashion designer some day).

When friends and family saw what I had they loved it.  I sold some to family, friends, and friends of friends.  Everyone encouraged me to sell them online.  So, my husband and I found some great suppliers for the materials and started mass producing them.  Along came http://www.mypursecharming.com.  We also sell them at some retail stores.  We knew we had a hit from the start because of the positive response, so we applied for a patent and are patent pending!

We have 8 My Purse Charming™ designs.  Your little princess can be like mine and have another way to display her charms, express her mood and just plain have fun.  Being up in Rochester my daughter can’t wear her holey clogs in the winter, so now she has somewhere to display her shoe charms all year long!

We have 20 Accessory Kit Designs (9 different strap colors and 20 different color coordinated bows).  Some Accessory Kits are for everyday and some are for the holidays (Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter).  Keep checking back at our site because we are always looking to add new designs.
